With the holidays fast approaching we tend to get caught up in all of the excitement and forget to take care of ourselves. Give yourself the gift of completed dental care and don’t give your insurance company the gift of your hard-earned remaining benefits! Most people pay for those benefits; regular payments come out of your pay check (be it weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly) to provide coverage for yourselves and your families. Most insurance policies renew at the beginning of the new year and a lot of patients will put off treatment in fear of using up all of their benefits and not having anything left in case of an emergency. For those patients that having been putting off treatment until the end of the year now is the time to schedule those appointments. If you have been waiting to schedule those larger procedures, such as crowns, bridges, or dentures, remember that a majority of insurance policies pay on “seat date,” in other words, on the date of the final appointment. So if you are looking to schedule a treatment that takes multiple visits you are going to want to start scheduling soon to guarantee that the procedure is completed prior to the end of the year. Our end of the year schedule fills up far in advance…call now for an appointment!
