Introducing Nephi!

Nephi is the newest member of the Beautiful Smiles family. He is a 11-month old Portuguese Water Dog. Portuguese Water Dogs are highly intelligent are known for their friendly and outgoing personalities. They originated from Portugal and were used by fishermen to herd fish, retrieve lost tackle and broken nets and act as couriers from ship to ship or ship to shore. They LOVE water, and people. Nephi’s favorite activities include playing fetch, making snow angels and taking lots of naps!

Nephi just graduated boot camp with honors at an intensive training program by Alpha Pak K9s. He is now working towards his Canine Good Citizens test and Therapy Pets Unlimited title.

Now that Nephi has returned from boot camp, he is showing off his good looks, calm demeanor and loving personality. He will continue to practice his new skills by meeting our patients and is excited to help them feel more calm and comfortable during their visit!
