Tina grew up in a military family, the oldest of four children. They moved all around the country and she has always enjoyed traveling and meeting people from all over the world. When she was 12 years old her father retired from the service and her family settled in Tabernacle, NJ. This is where she met and married her husband, John, her high school sweetheart. They have two wonderful children, Andrew and Katie, which are the absolute pride and joy of their lives. In October of 2005, Tina moved to York, PA with her husband and children. She had found that the slower pace of Central PA has been a wonderful area to raise her children to adulthood. Her family is so embedded in the York area that both of her children had decided to attend York College. They received excellent educations and are moving on to promising careers.
She has always enjoyed working with the public and knew that she wanted a career where she was able to see a variety of people on a daily basis. After seven years of retail store management she decided that she wanted a career where she could help people. She started her career in the dental field as a receptionist in the spring of 1991. That is where she discovered that being able to help patients with the scheduling and financial side of dentistry was just as important and fulfilling as being able to help patients with the clinical side of dentistry. Over the years she worked her way up from scheduling coordinator to insurance claims processor to billing and accounts receivable, and now is the Practice Administrator at Beautiful Smiles Family Dental Center. Tina, with the support of her husband and children, is dedicated to her profession and helping patients to meet their dental needs. Her goal is to see that all patients receive the treatment that they need, no matter what their insurance coverage or financial situation may be.
During her time off, Tina enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, jet skiing at the beach, playing in the snow, reading, and gardening. A favorite quote of Tina’s is, “It’s not having what you want, it’s wanting what you’ve got.”
